How-To: ErgoRack Cylinder Adjustment
In this quick How-To post, we’ll learn how to adjust the hydraulic cylinder on your ErgoRack for optimum performance! An ideal drop should take 2 to 3 seconds – ensuring a safe, controlled descent for your ladder.
Problem: Ladder drops too quickly
Solution: To ensure a more measured drop, turn the hydraulic adjustment screw ¼ turn clockwise. Test the rack and repeat the ¼ turn clockwise until the drop time takes 2 to 3 seconds.
Problem: Ladder drops too slowly
Solution: To ensure a faster drop, turn the hydraulic adjustment screw ¼ turn counterclockwise. Test the rack and repeat the ¼ turn counterclockwise until the drop time takes 2 to 3 seconds.
